“As a Smeaton house captain, my goals are to continue our reputation as a competitive and engaging house whilst also aspiring to support creativity and new ideas to further improve Smeaton’s name. I plan to properly collaborate with people in the younger years to help involve their opinions during events and on the school as a whole, so that everyone has the opportunity to contribute towards a prospering house. I truly believe that the best way for Smeaton to move forward is to engage everyone and expand from all the great ideas that can be profited.”

“By becoming House Captain of Smeaton I aspire to be a bridge between students and staff. I believe people work best with unity and teamwork, two aspects which I am very passionate about. My aim is for DHSB and especially Smeaton house to be an environment where everyone belongs and feels heard. I plan to use my leadership skills to create a sense of belonging within Smeaton house. I believe that every member has unique strengths and talents which can be utilized to make Smeaton the best that it can be.”
